I like Mitchell over Malhotra, Mitchell is faster and he hits a bit more.

I'd play DSP over Flynn and Thomas because of the physical upside. Hopefully being scratched gave him a jolt.

Its been said thousands of times by now, but Carey Price will completely dictate this teams future.

The teams overall defense and play doesn't really fluctuate much, it really comes down to Price being Price and the Habs doing what they do on team defense and what we call offense.

That said, a match up against the Lightning may require them to do a bit more if they want to win that series.

how did Hasek only win 30 games that year??

i like what Pateryn and Beaulieu bring. Pateryn brings some physicality and while Beaulieu doesn't necessarily bring that, i like how he's not afraid to jump in after the whistle and defend his teammates. it's something you don't see much of on this team.

Another reason we got DSP. Just make sure he starts gaining speed behind his own net, dont know if he could reach a great enough velocity by the time he gets to the other teams crease.

Meh lockout season wasn't so long ago, Price had a .905 sv% and the team still did good. Price is the best goalie in the NHL right now but I would not go that far.
